This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 02, 2008:
The most difficult promises I've ever made are those to myself. My inner voice, which a friend of mine once dubbed Little Hitler, is a taskmaster and often unforgiving when I don't live up to those personal promises. I have learned that I must be very careful to assess my commitment and will to fulfill any promise, for in those resolutions lie either character erosion or trustworthy integrity.
